The
Governor of Maryland Visits BAI Aerosystems
Easton,
MD: Maryland Governor Robert Ehrlich visited BAI Aerosystems today
and held an informal "town meeting" discussion with the
company's employees. Governor Ehrlich was accompanied by State Senator
Richard Colburn, Delegate Jeannie Haddaway, and Easton Mayor Robert
Willey.The Governor congratulated BAI Aerosystems on its advanced
technologies and for creating over 300 jobs on Maryland's Eastern
Shore. BAI's employees were offered the opportunity to quiz the
Governor on issues ranging from rising healthcare costs to Chesapeake
Bay Bridge traffic and the health of the Chesapeake Bay, our national
treasure. BAI's President and CEO, Richard Bernstein, presented
Governor Ehrlich with pewter desktop models of the rapidly growing
company's successful "Evolution" and "Tern"
UAVs, which are currently in service with the U.S. military.
