About The Company

BAI Aerosystems, a division of L-3 Communications Corp., was founded in 1985 to address the needs of the emerging Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS) market. L-3 BAI currently provides an extensive product line that includes multiple UAS platforms, flight control systems, payloads, data links, field support equipment, pneumatic launchers, testing and engineering services.

L-3 BAI provides its customers with a single qualified source for all aspects of their UAS requirements, and is one of the few unmanned vehicle manufacturers that can provide services from design through deployment.

L-3 BAI’s manufacturing facility is a 50,000 square foot building located in Easton, MD, about one hour east of Washington, D.C. and one hour southeast of Baltimore.

L3 BAI’s in-house manufacturing capabilities include:

	Composite tool and component production
	Laser cutting, tooling and mold carving
	Vacuum-forming of thermoplastic materials
	Computer Numerical Controlled (CNC) processes; 5-Axis milling and routing capabilities
	Board-level electronic assembly and harness fabrication
	Payload and system integration
	Testing
	Digital Design and Production Software (SolidWorks, MasterCam)
	Integrated 3-D Design Environment
