Supports production, business, and other processes in a team-based Aerospace manufacturing environment.  Performs activities in a variety of cross-functional areas including production planning and control, total quality management, systems, manufacturing, equipment and facilities engineering, material management, and process reeingeering.  Will facilitate self-directed work teams, provide training in “core skill” areas to teams and peers, and interact with internal and external customers with respect to product planning, problem resolution, and process improvement.  Will provide direction to subordinates using established policies and best practices. 

Successful candidate will have 4 years supervisory experience with a related Bachelors degree.  Experience with DOD Contracts and/or Aerospace Systems is preferred. | EOE M/F/V/D

Assists the Quality Manager in the Quality Control function of the organization.  Ensures the quality of materials purchased, processed, manufactured, and/or distributed by the organization.  Responsible for continuously reviewing quality control philosophy, practice, and procedure to ensure the highest standards.  Coordinates and conducts technical reliability studies.  Recommends design or test methods and statistical process control procedures for achieving required levels of product reliability.  Manages the testing and controlling of raw material and finished product quality, ensures compliance with company standards and applicable government regulations.  Recommends corrective action where necessary, develops plant quality control manuals, and participates in the development of new methods, procedures and systems.

Successful candidate will have a B.S./B.A. in Engineering, Science or Mathematics.  Use and/or application of basic principles, theories and concepts.  Ability to develop solutions to routine technical problems.  Ability to contribute to the completion of routine technical tasks.  DOD Experience and/or Aerospace experience preferred. | EOE M/F/V/D

Purchases, plans and schedules movement of raw materials, packaging materials, parts, components, services, supplies, finished goods and related material through production and inventory process.  Identifies raw material, component and related requirements from engineering and production specifications and schedules.  Purchases, plans and coordinates resulting material movement throughout manufacturing and inventory sequences.  In front-end procurement mode, analyzes data and determines factors that affect prices and determines lowest cost consistent with quality, reliability, and ability to meet required schedules.  Reviews proposals, negotiates process, selects or recommends suppliers, analyzes trends, follows up orders placed, verifies delivery, approves payment, and maintains necessary records of material movement throughout manufacturing and inventory cycle(s).

Successful candidate will have 2 years experience with a related Bachelors degree and general knowledge of industry practices, techniques and standards. | EOE M/F/V/D

Tests aircraft to determine compliance with specification and operational suitability.  Pilots models of test aircraft during engineering tests, production acceptance and flight test support through specifically prescribed tests and maneuvers.  Coordinates flight operations efforts.  Approves configuration.  May conduct demonstration flights with customers, government officials, or other personnel to exhibit aircraft performance, flying qualities and systems capabilities.
